Services
Were you previously unsuccessful in trying to wear contact lenses? We pride ourselves on being able to successfully fit all types of contact lens patients, even those who were previously dissatisfied with contact lens wear. By using state of the art contact lens fitting techniques, innovative new contact lens materials and computer aided contact lens designs when appropriate, the vast majority of our patients can become full or part time contact lens wearers.
We also provide consultation and co-management services for both refractive laser and cataract surgery. For patients who would like to have good vision without glasses or contact lenses, but who do not want to have surgery, we offer corneal refractive therapy or CRT. Using rigid gas permeable contact lenses while sleeping, CRT gently reshapes the cornea and allows patients to have good vision while awake. Unlike refractive surgery, it is a reversible procedure.
Patients who have vision loss due to injury or disease may be interested in our low vision services. Special optical devices, such as electronic magnifiers, telescopes, and other low vision aids often allow patients to improve their quality of life and live more independently.
